Rob graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2021.  While attending law school, Rob had the opportunity to participate in the Prosecution Assistance Clinic, the Defender Aid Clinic, and was an extern for the Wyoming Children’s Law Center. Rob was a recipient of the James E. Barrett Scholarship, awarded to University of Wyoming College of Law students who demonstrate exceptional aptitude in trial practice.

Prior to attending law school, Rob served in the U.S. Air Force and then went on to serve as a law enforcement officer in both Colorado and Wyoming, for nearly 16 years.  In that capacity, Rob worked as a Narcotics Detection Canine Handler, a Patrol Sergeant, Field Training Officer, and Special Weapons and Tactics (‘SWAT’) Team member.  Rob shifted his focus from law enforcement to the practice of law, because he can better ensure clients receive all of the protections guaranteed by our legal system through the practice of law.

Rob has had the opportunity to represent families and children in child custody and divorce actions, helping to guide his clients through turbulent personal times to stability in their new paradigms. He advocates for those accused of crime and zealously protects the Constitutional rights of his clients as they navigate the criminal justice system. Rob has testified in courts throughout the State as an expert witness on canine olfaction and detection dog certification and training practices. He represents businesses and individuals in contract litigation and collection matters, to ensure that his clients receive the full benefit of their contractual rights.  Rob also advises multiple Wyoming Municipalities as a contract Town Attorney.

Rob feels that his client’s interests are often best protected through informal dispute resolution. Although his practice focuses on litigation, he recognizes that not every case requires a trial. He prides himself on reaching resolution in those cases which can be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as this represents a substantial cost savings to his clients.
