Jack Martin is an associate attorney at Coal Creek Law whose practice is grounded in rigorous legal analysis, clear communication, and a practical, client-focused approach to problem-solving. Jack has experience litigating various complex areas of civil litigation on behalf of businesses and individuals.
Before joining Coal Creek Law, Jack served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Kelly H. Rankin at the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming, where he was exposed to a wide range of civil matters. His clerkship provides him with valuable insight into federal procedure, civil litigation, and effective motion practice—insight he uses to help clients navigate disputes efficiently and strategically. While in law school, Jack served as an Extern for the then-Chief Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming. This experience, combined with his clerkship, equips Jack with comprehensive insight into each phase of a lawsuit, so he can anticipate challenges, streamline processes, and guide clients through complex disputes with confidence and efficiency.
Before joining the federal judiciary, Jack earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Wyoming College of Law, where he served as Staff Member and Managing Editor of the Wyoming Law Review and as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing I & II. He received his B.A. in Legal Studies, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
He is admitted to practice in Wyoming and the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming.
