David Evans was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming and grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1970, the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in English Literature in 1974, and the University of Wyoming Law School, in 1978. Mr. Evans is of-counsel. He has practiced continuously with the firm since 1978. He is married to Becky, and they have two children.
Mr. Evans developed a community-based, statewide, general practice of law over the years. His areas of emphasis have been Business and Commercial Law, Labor Law, and Education Law. David is a member of both Wyoming and Colorado State Bar Associations. He is a past member of the American Judicature Society Board of Directors, the Wyoming Industrial Siting Council, the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities, and is the former Chairman of the Wyoming Water Development Commission. He has served the Wyoming State Bar in several capacities, including as Chairman of the Wyoming Bench Bar Relations Committee, and a member of the Wyoming State Board of Continuing Legal Education. He is a past president of the Ewing T. Kerr Inn of Court. He also served as a Trustee in the United States Bankruptcy Court. David has been active in the Cheyenne community serving on a number of non-profit boards. He was a youth soccer and basketball coach for many years. He enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as golf. He and Becky are avid travelers.
